Cashcow's Class of 2011: Tim Houlihan

Tim Houlihan looks to be one of the best midfield buys of 2011. The skinny Eagle didn’t play a game in 2010 and was delisted before being re-selected in November.

If his WAFL form was anything to go by, Houlihan should have been in the side. Fortunately for DT coaches, however, Houlihan didn’t play and will be cheap as chips in 2011. In his 10 games this season for East Fremantle, Houlihan averaged 22.2 disposals and given his stamina he runs all day, especially in junk time.

To prove he doesn’t shy away from the big scores, Timmy scored 125 in Round 13 and 127 in Round 16.

With a West Coast midfield that lacks pace, Houlihan should get significant game time if elevated from the rookie list.

Cashcow's Class of 2011

With club lists finalised for the 2011 season, the boys have decided to preview who we think will be the best Cashcows and pickups of next year's Dream Team competition.

While making a conscious effort to avoid the likes of duds (Chris Masten), we have scoured through the best combinations of rookies, draftees, players set to bloom after several seasons and those returning from injury.

Fortunately for your ears, the previews will be in print form but do expect pre-season episodes early in 2011
